About Vocational Education Leaders AI & Smart Skills Study Tour
This 4-day, 3-night study tour takes place in Guangzhou, targeting senior leaders and managers in vocational education. Focusing on AI empowerment and the development of smart skills, it combines high-level forums, expert sharing, on-site visits and in-depth dialogues to explore the integration of artificial intelligence into vocational education.
Participants will visit benchmark vocational colleges and advanced tech enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, learning about smart teaching, intelligent training bases and industry-led talent training models. The tour also facilitates peer exchanges on curriculum reform, school-enterprise cooperation and digital transformation of vocational education.
By combining frontier concepts with practical cases, this program helps vocational education leaders update their visions, optimize talent development systems, and build a high-end platform for international exchange and cooperation in the era of intelligent education.
The CICA Member States Workers’ Skills Competition will be held in Guangzhou from June 29 to July 2, 2026.
Guangzhou Electromechanical Technician College(GETC), as the Initiator of the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Vocational Education intend to organize a 4 day High Level CICA Vocational Education Leaders Study Tour on AI and Intelligent Skills for principals and deans from CICA member states.

Program Overview

- Dates: July 1 – July 4, 2026 (4 days, concurrent with the CICA Skills Competition)
- Place: Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, P.R.China
- Invited Participants: Principals, Deans, academic directors, and key teachers from Vocational Colleges in CICA member countries (unlimited number)
- Program Fee: USD 1,500 per participant (4 days and 3 nights inclusive)
- Excluding: international round-trip airfare, personal expenses
Fee Coverage
- 3 star hotel accommodation (twin occupancy; single supplement available at USD200 per person)
- All meals, local transportation, and professional interpretation (Chinese/English)
- Official visits:2 enterprises in Intelligent Manufacturing or AI area
- Thematic lectures on China’s vocational education system, AI & Robotics education, Cantonese Food Cuisine education and skills development
- Cultural experience: Pearl River Night Cruise, Canton Tower, Cantonese culture tour
